51st Annual Irish Open

The always popular Irish Fellowship Club Golf Outing is expanding to offer two different start-times to accommodate more golfers at beautiful Ridgemoor Country Club.  The Outing will be held on Monday, July 15 at Ridgemoor Country Club (6601 W Gunnison St, Harwood Heights, IL 60706) with shotgun starts at 8am or 1pm.

 A morning foursome is $2800 and includes golf for the foursome, breakfast, lunch and drinks on the course along with a hole sponsorship. An afternoon foursome is $3000 and includes golf for the foursome, lunch, drinks on the course and a hole sponsorship. All golfers are welcome to participate in an evening reception and awards ceremony beginning at 5:30pm,  which includes dinner and drinks.  And, non-golfers are invited to join the cocktail reception for a fee of $125.

Says Golf Chairman John Wrenn, “The Outing has sold out quickly in the past few years and we want to make sure that more golfers have the opportunity to enjoy the day of fun and fellowship in support of the Irish Fellowship Club Education and Cultural Foundation.  Even with the additional foursomes, we are sure that the event will sell out so make your reservations today.”  Reservations can be made through the Irish Fellowship Club website at www.irishfellowshipclub.com.  Adds Executive Director Kathy Taylor, “Hole sponsorships are available for $500 to promote your business, recognize a colleague or family member.  Please check the website for details.”

The driving range will be open at 6:45am with registration and breakfast at 7am for the 8am shotgun and 11:30 driving range, registration and lunch for the 1pm shotgun. All proceeds from the Golf Outing support the IFC Foundation which provides scholarships to Catholic High Schools across the Chicagoland areas and small grants to Irish cultural organizations.
